the first time
‘The first time’ is a sensorial site specific experience for babies aged 0 – 12 months.
The work is designed around the vitally important first year of a baby’s life.
Researched and documented along-side the real time first year of my own baby’s life, we are three quarters of the way through the development and design of the work.
All five senses are excited during the experience.
On seeing how positively my tiny baby responded to a piece of work last year (at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival) called Mirazozo; a luminarium of light and sound by Architects of Air. I decided to begin a journey to research and experiment to make my baby and other young babies a beautiful, educational and inspiring piece of work that is sensory led.
